Dear team,
Even as per A6  the issue doesnt solve..here the distortion is not localised or in spots as iterated in 650..the whole shell id has come inside for around 12.5mm as mean and 1.5 mtr around 19-20mm in particular...so my queries are;
1. Is 650 calling for any welding distortion allowence?
2.is there any fillet sizing given for stiffeners particularly?
3. Could we club aws d 1.1 by any means to 650?
Now the sub-contractor is challenging us for back-ups in terms of rejection and rectifications
Anyhow the radius limitation is 19mm...which has been crossed in that area at least.. help with your valuable responses pls.
Thanks in advance,
Kumar

For a tank shell course thickness 8mm, intermediate stiffner welding done below the wind girder to fillet size 8mm...now the plate has buckled towards throughout ID for almost 10 to 14 mm...this is the last shell course(tank height 20, od - 36 mtr)..how can decide this buckling is within tolerence?....pls. share your opinions..
Thanking in advance
Kumar
