Dear Sir,

You have to follow client specifications. It is the designer who decides whether pwht is needed or not in these cases.

To all,

The new EIL spec prescribes PWHT to be performed for all CS materials used for sour service irrespective of the thickness..
Is it required to do PWHT for all joints(1",2",4",6" etc) for CS Nace based on this spec??
