[MW:25404] Interpretation of Hardness testing for the P1 Base Materials as per ASME B31.3 Edition 2012

Dear Experts,

Kindly advise me the interpretation of Hardness testing for the P1 Base Materials,

As per ASME B31.3 Edition 2012, for the P1 Materials there is no Brinell hardness value given

And Note .4 is referred to Para 331.1.7

In the Para 331.1.7 (a) given, where a hardness limit is specified in Table 331.1.1 at least 10% welds, hot bends, hot formed components in each furnace heat treated batch and 100% of those locally heat treated shall be tested.

As per my understanding the paragraph advised to follow the hardness testing only, where the value given P Materials,

so if it is not hardness value given  hardness testing is not required? Even though the P1 Materials heat treated for the thickness or service conditions,

Is it correct or not? Please advise me.

Regards,
