SA 216 IS FOR CASTINGS.
SA 105 IS FOR FORGINGS.
THERE ARE SOME KIND OF ITEMS THAT DUE TO SIZE AND SHAPE CAN NOT BE FORGED.
SO THERE IS A NEED FOR A SPEC FOR CASTINGS AND FOR A SPEC FOR FORGINGS

Hello,
Is there anyone know the material differences from ASTM A105 and A216 Gr.WCB?
because, if i've seen it based on the chemical and mechanical properties, they're all the same..
Anyone can tell, when we should use A105 or A216?
Nb : It is to be used for Plug Valve Material in pipeline engineering
Any help would be apreciated,
Thankyou
Best regard,
Zihni
