As per the A 36 plate standard , This plate can not use  in Pipe construction or in the Fitting construction .

because it is structural steel material grade.

where our application of ASTM A 234 WPB fitting is in process piping .

Both are Different ,

We faced same Problem in one of our reputed customer , but finally on the basis of the Chemical composition and mechanical test perform on laboratory and satisfied customer and End users .

Submit one stated letter from the manufacturer to Client about the suitability of  raw material .

If specific requirements based on service (like NACE), then restricted chemistry applies.
