Sir,
Wire feeder mechanism is not an issue. My company is ready to invest.
But I wanted to know whether it is possible to carry out overlay deposition with the wire as the filler in Plasma process.
If there is any well known welding torch suppliers , please give me the contacts.
Thanks and regards

Dear Vadivel,

If you want to use plasma PAW you need a wire feeder, it could be cold or hot wire feeder. You should also consider GMAW (wire) and SAW (wire and bands) processes.

Dear Experts,

Is there any technology of using Wire as a filler metal for deposition SS 316L , SS 410 , Inconel 625 on a carbon steel base instead of Powder with a Plasma machine.
I find procurement of these fillers in powder form is difficult in India and it is costly too.
I have tried SS 316 powder but unable to get a good deposition.
Please throw me some ideas.
