Re: [MW:15456] During WQT , Visual passed by client but RT failed.

Dear Sir,

As per AWS D1.1 standard sais that the Client is acccepted the welder qualified as per Pre Visual Inspection but With out RT is not possible to qualified the Welder. but With out RT film Welder is not qualified.

Can I argue with client to qualify the welder eventhough they failed in the RT. Because normally a welder visually qualified means he will be able to pass in the RT also. suppose if the welder will qualify by the client, that welders they are going to weld minor structual welding only. Can or Can not ?.Any codes or standards saying about this ?

 please advise me.
