Dear All, Thanx to all of u for replying my query, but pl. go thru following points: 1) Spool was constructed as per ASME B 31.3. 2) 1st failure- test carried out during night (2100hrs) & regularly showing drop in pressure on press.gauge (may be because of temp. drop in surrounding atmp.) but no leakage through the system. Test stopped. 3) 2nd failure- test carried out next day at 1000 hrs & rejected due to leakage from blind flange from one end. 4) 3rd failure- test carried out at 1600 hrs. & rejected due to leakage from flange joint. Due to continious testing is there any chance of developing stresses in parent metal which may affect further testing. Thanx & Regds, PSP
