Re: [MW:12164] relation between preheat or post heating to tensile strength

I would like to add few points to Mr.Kalyans Replay.
 
If the material being welded is Carbon steel you may not have higher affect on the metallurgical properties but, during SAW process you will get centerline crack if the width to height ratio of the weld bead is more than 2.
