Hi, As per ASME.,There is no minimum thickness range for welder/Welding perator. If a welder qualfied with the test specimen thickness(t) less than 13mm ,he can weld up to 2t. Or if he qualified with the specimen thickness more than or equal to 13mm,he can qualified for maximum to be welded.
