Dear experts
As per SA234 / SA234M elongation requirement at different grades and different thickness is silent(shown ‘…’). However it is also written as “NOTE — Where an ellipsis (. . .) appears in this table, there is no requirement.”
I want to know, shall we ignore the elongation requirement or for low thickness always go for Longitudinal direction ? For example material grade A234 WPB 5.5 MM Thickness. Kindly suggest.
