Please give us full details of your test (Code.Material details,Heat input,test temperature,Impact value obtained,Heattreatment conditions,Hardness value etc.,) so that you can get right opinion.

Please reply with references for a senario as under,
 
a PQR has passed all mechanical tests and failed for Charpy test for base metal (weld line and HAZ charpy values are OK) then can the PQR be rejected??
 
The hardness of HAZ is almost double than weldmetal and base metal then what to do...

S355 J2 WP  is a weathering structural steel  It has better atmospheric corrosion resistance. Use E 8018 - W1/W2  Electrodes This is regular...
