Asper UW31, it is not necessary that a subcontractor making such tack welds for a vessel be a holder of Code Certificate of Authorization, this can be resolved as
1) The vendor Document (WPS/PQR/WPQ) need to be reviewed by your representative and tack welding can be done by vendor welder using under your control.
2) As your certication includes the scope of field sites you can also send your qualified welders for tack welding using your documents.
