[MW:3524] Re: defect free weld

Hi Ramu,
If it crosses the limit, then only it is being said as defective, otherwise it is a discontinuity.
Thanks,

Hi!
We have recently organised a course on " Weld Defects Inspection and Quality
Assurance- WDIQA-2009" during 24-26th Aug, at Chennai. My question is: How
to get a defect free (closer to no defect-perfect) weld ? Group members can
try to list the precautions, procedures, etc, etc to be followed to obtain a
defect free weld (based on their experience). If we can compile all the
details,  it will be an useful source of information for all of us.
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Vaidehi Ganesan.
