[MW:2634] API 5B Interpretation - Casings buttress threads.

 Dear Friends

I would like to get a clarification on the interpration of API 5B code as i had faced certain problems during client inspection of casings at our pipe mill. The doubt is w.r.to buttress thread ( 13 3/8" casings) as below.
At L4 area after L7 ( g area as per attached drawing) it has been noticed that in the last three threads have found to be incomplete ( 75% area thread has been found and rest of the area there is no thread - island portion) may be because of diameter coming in the lower tolerance range / thickness coming in the lower tolerance range. Could i please know if the same is acceptable as per code since by my interpretation of the code it is not clear if incomplete thread belongs to imperfect thread.

Thanks and Regards

Rakesh Raj
