[MW:2487] Re: Copper sulphate

Hi,

When you apply copper sulphate on clad removed area it will become black if clad is compleately removed. If any clad material is balance on the plate surface the colour will not change.

Dear All
Above subject is referred, what is the purpose of copper sulphate in repairing cladded vessel. Our contractor was submitted one repair procedure for installation of  new nozzle on cladded vessel. The procedure mentioned that copper sulphate shall be used to verify all clad material has been removed. It is true? Which reference should i refer? Please advise and thank in advance
