[MW:2511] Re: Manufacturer VOD / AOD converters

Herman

I saw your post for VAD/VOD suppliers.
You might try Core Furnace Systems, which includes Lectromelt as one of their holdings.  In Germany, you might try Heraeus.  I believe they now hold that arm of the metallurgical process equipment from what was formerly Leybold Heraeus.  In the UK, Davy Markham is the survivor of what used to be Davy Heavy Engineering, but I believe they are now only metal working, no longer melt.
Otherwise, there may be foundry furnace manufacturers that do auxillery melt equipment, either independently or in cooperation with other engineering firms.
Good luck.

Subject: [MW:2510] Manufacturer VOD / AOD converters

Dear Group members, For a related company I'm looking for a manufacturer for Decarburization AOD / VOD converters. This equipment is used in Foundries for reducing Carbon content in liquid Stainless Steel before casting. Does anyone have a suggestion for me. Best Regards, Herman Pieper
