    I agree with Arjan;

   "You can use TIG (GTAW) or MIG (GMAW) methode and filler metal with AWS code ERCu C7(Copper filler metal, tin-alloyed with good flow properties), gas: Argon-Helium, preheat to exclude discontiniuties."

Also, depending on the level of damage, you might need add some additional bracing. I would definately use some nice copper plate, bevel and clean very well prior to welding. You will want to clean as much of the joint, break, crack as you can. Even if that means cutting some badly damaged areas out and replacing them. The cleaner the better in all cases.

It is a structural repair! All the structure is in copper, is a very old statue.

Depends on what the repairs are ... is it a structural repair or cosmetic? What material is the main structure? Is this copper sheeting, or overlay, which is thinner. We'll need more data
