Generally No PFHT required for SS when cold bending is done (Hot bending is not advisable)

You may use Table UHA44 (ASME Sec VIII div1) for PFHT requirement, which is most common in HE U tubing.Para 331.4.2 not clearly spelt out for P8 material, but there is something called 10% strain limit, which is same as given in UHA44 for 304 materialFrom Dhwani Desai........

Hi,
Is there any code restriction for doing cold bending of SS-304 (1.1/2") pipe? Any post bending heat treatment required?
31.3 only specifies heat treatment for ferritic steel.
