Dear Expert,--Kindly advice,For Pressure Vessel as per ASME Sec 8 Div 1,Nozzle to Shell full penetration weld of Set on type nozzle, which is the governing thickness for wps selection i.e. thickness of nozzle or thickness of shell or both.In a typical case,Nozzle thickness 14 mm, needs to be welded on another nozzle of thickness 250 mm.WPs available is with 5 mm to 200 mm range.Is this wps can be used for set on type nozzle as it cover range of nozzle thickness
