Just to add. Charpy Impact test at MDMT (Minimum design Metal temperature) but if you perform at -48degC it can be used in the future.

API 5L X60 if ordered with special impact test requirement at -48degC then it will meet the requirement.

Welding process-(GTAW Er70s-2(spl) + SMAW(E7018-1))


Client requirement are PWHT with impact test with other test as per code .
Kindly guide me for impact test temperature requirements.

We are qualifying this PQR  to weld rolled fittings of A537 CL1. thk 30 mm.
Design code ASME SEC 8 DIV1.
