Approved WPS means you have to use the consumables as per Approved WPS. - ER70S-2 for production welding.
If you have to write WPS using the same PQR , you can write WPS with ER70S-6 adding note in WPS that Mn content in wire shall not exceed 1.6 %.
You can resubmit the above WPS with ER70S6 and get approval for production welding use.
Pl check read Customer Specification about consumable use.
