[MW:33731] PWHT

Hi Experts,

One of our client raised questions about the riser adapter, which we refurbish on a regular basis for them. This adapter was weld repaired in 2021, and the hardness after PWHT was 197 BHN. We repaired the same adapter a few days ago, and the hardness after PWHT is 217 BHN. And these values are within the allowable range of the ASTME-10 standard.  Now, the client is questioning how the hardness has increased so dramatically.

If anyone can suggest any advice or opinions on the possibilities, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance
