Hi,
If toughness test (Impact test) is not required by your construction code, you can weld any combination of group materials in the same P number.
If Impact test required by your construction code, you follow QW403.5 and as explained by trail mail below by other member explained.

but PQR using P1G1 to P1G2 qualify P1G1 to P1G1,  P1G2 to P1G2 and P1G1 to P1G2.
Again, for example two PQRs using PIG1 to P1G1 and P1G2 to P1G2 qualify P1G1 to P1G2 as long as both essential and supplementary essential variables of the both PQRs are the same.
