[MW:26539] Machining of WNRF flange to WNFF Flange - U Stamped Equipment

Hi,

One of our Project the contractor machined the WNRF flange of "U" Stamped Static Mixer (New Equiment) to Flat Face to match with the connecting Piping. The Equipment deign code is ASME Sec VIII Div-1. Please share your experience, Is it acceptable to convert RF Flange to FF Flange for the "U" Stamped equipment.
