[MW:24030] Re: GMAW short Circuit mode; QW403.10 & QW404.32

PQR 1) GMAW- 6.35mm
Root pass by short circuit mode- 3mm
Subsequent passes up to capping by pulsed spray mode-3.35mm

WPS Range for less than 1.1T i.e 1.1 of 6.35 is 6.98==7mm

PQR 2) GMAW- 14.27mm
Root pass by short circuit mode- 3mm
Subsequent passes up to capping by pulsed spray mode- 11.27mm

WPS range for more than 13mm  is 2T i.e 2x14.27 is 28.54.

WPS for above thicknesses,
Reference PQRs: PQR 1) & PQR 2)
In WPS- Base metal T range: 6.35mm to 12.7mm & 14.27mm to 28.54mm.
Weld metal t GMAW-Short circuit: 3.3mm
Weld metal t GMAW-Pulsed spray: 22.54mm

Reference Document: ASME sec.IX
a) QW403.10 GMAW short circuit mode T is 1.1T
b) QW404.32 GMAW short circuit mode t is 1.1t.
c) QW 403.6 for impact requirement.

Question 1)
above WPS T & t value is correct??, if not correct me with justification.
Question 2)
GMAW process remains same for making WPS with short circuit & pulsed spray mode

Note:We don't have thickness range between 11.33 to 14.27mm
