Re: [MW:19985] International Welding Technologist (IWT) Diploma

Dear experts,

Whether IWIP is better than CSWIP 3.1 and AWS-CWI.All are welding inspector category only. Is there any special purpose to do IWIP?

Regards,
Kumar

Dear Noushad and Anand,

IWE requires minimum 8 yrs of experiance with BE.
If you are a Diploma holder u could be eligible only for IWT.
IWE and IWT are almost equal, But for any Organization certification like EN 15085 Cl 1 might require IWE. For an IWT who can not become IWE because of curriculum, can go for IWIP.
It has three level. Based on your experiance you can select corresponding IWIP.
For other information you can visit www.iiwindia.com.
