-- You need to first calculate the total area of the weld deposit as per joint configuration.
e.g. from your sketch,its seems to a partial penetration weld, however it does not include complete weld details, such as weld size as a additional run.
considering the weld configuration shown in your sketch first figure, it will be a triangle, the area can be calculated using the formula 1/2*a*b*density of material, and accordingly convert the units.
For 2nd figure use a combination of Triangle and arc. Try to divide the area into different forms upto max extent.
After the complete calculation, you need to add the filler material wastage factor (Stub lose in SMAW, spatters excess penetration etc.) which vary according to different processes.
