Dear Aziz,
What you are talking about is "Weld Access Holes".
But my query is that if web of 12 mtrs length is required and we are Butt welding 2 plates of 6 mtrs length for this. Bracing gusset connecting holes are exactly coming on the weld area of web.
Whether these holes are allowed on onthe weld area, if it is acceptable in UT testing.
regards,
G.P.Raju

Dear Praba,
Base on my previous project we make a mouse hole on the web near top and
bottom flange for welding and ndt access. When visual and ndt is completed
we seal weld the mouse hole before blasting and painting.
Correct me if I miss understanding your your query.
