Dear Sentil Kumar Please read ASME Sec VIII Div.1 UG-102. UG-102(b) states " Dial indicating pressure gages used in testing shall be graduated over a range of about double the intended maximum test pressure, but in no case shall the range be less than 1.5 nor more than 4 times that pressure". This means that the gage used for testing 3000 psig shall have a range of 0 to 4500psi or 0 to 12000psi. Ideally the gage must have a range 0 to 6000psi Gopu
