Dear All,
We are trying to weld Galvanised Sheets 0.5mm with GTAW. We find it difficult to weld and get some blow holes. Results with CRC instead of galvanised are much better.
Is this because of the Zinc content ? Any suggestions ?
Regards,

i know this will probably sound crazy and won't be to spec.,but try s.s.316 or 316l 1/16. i am a welder with nearly 20 years exp. in all phases of welding. the s.s. wire works great on aluminized sheetmetal, but have never tried on galvanized.if this don't work, then surely ever-do wire will.
