[MW:2095] Fwd: 316 SS pipe welding to carbon steel



Dear freinds,
 
I have a threaded joint with one side SS 316 and another side Low Temperature Carbon Steel, due to sour service (sour recycle gas) of this joint I need to seal welded of this threaded joints.
 
Could you please help me to find out thenical issues about this type of welding possiblity and applacability?, is it norm or not?, what about galvanic corrosion?, any Con and Pro welcomed.
