RE: [MW:12071] Propane or butane to preheat

Hi all,

There is no much differences between propane and butane.

However as our friend stated that in some conditions (Client requirement)
this is not allowed.

Thanks and Regards.................

Make sure you do the proper temperature measurement otherwise the gas type
does not matter

Nothing wrong in it, gas used for heating is not a variable to consider.

Could all of you tell me the difference between preheat with propane
and butane?, If a WPS is qualified by preheating with propane but
butane is used in production welds is wrong?
