Usually pressure gauges used for hydrotest shall be min 1.5 times the test pressure, which will be specified
in the Flushing & Testing Spec.

One of the fire water line to be hydrotest in 3000 ksi, with me available gauge is 4000ksi.
 
Is there any documents says we can use this limit gauge for testing or shall be tested only with min 6000ksi gauge only?
