[MW:25859] HOW TO REBUILD A WORN-OUT WIRE DRAWING DRUM BY WELDING

Hi Experts,

I need your suggestions on rebuilding of a wire drawing drum by welding. (Please find the attached photographs)

1. I need to know what could be the exact base material used for the normal wire drawing drum. (Please find the attached photographs)
2. What is the optimum hardness recommended to withstand high wear resistance of longer wire drawing.
3. Which alloy combination is recommended for the welding electrode that needs to be used.
4. Should i use any low heat input electrode, hardfacing electrode or conventional electrodes with high tensile properties(E12018 - G)...etc.

Regards

Adil. C
