I have got a PQR qualified for orbital TIG welding (automatic) with cold wire. Does it qualify for orbital TIG welding with hot wire, all other thinks remaining unchanged ? In my opinion yes, but I am not sure. Applicable construction code is ASME. Welding qualifications are per Section IX.
