Your question is not clear. Please say clearly that while assembling the three spools by
bolting - Flange to flange or welding?
If Flange to flange and the same flange also blinded and test for all 3 spools then no further
hydrotest required . If any welding is going to take place then hydrotest to be carried out or
to be considered as a golden joint and RT / UT and MPT / DPT 2 methods NDT to be carried out

Hydro test purpose is to check Strength and Leakage on Assembly. if you do hydro test without
assembly , it will very difficult to judge abt assembly stiffness / strength against standard
pressure as per applicable code .

If i will be your client , i will not waiver hydro test .

The hydrostatic pressure testing is mainly to check the mechanical

integrity of weld joints & to asses the same for the base metal as

well. So, in your case if there are no new weld joints, hydrotest

could be waived. but you may have to do leak test (at operational

pressure) for the new flanged (with gaskets) in order to check the

leak proofing.this is just for info.
