Re: [MW:17263] Test subsea welded-in valve seal

Dear Toan,
Are you Vietnamese ? This is first time I see Vietnamese in this forum and is great.
Your problem is simple: after welding, the welded valve may be inefficient by heating (shrink, crack ...) by slag. Those cause should make the valve be impaired.
Inorder to sure it's functionality has been perfect, you should prepaire a temporary spool or hose and hydrolic pump ... for testing according by it's functionality. The testing proceduce should be approval by QA authorised.
Wish success to you.

Dear Experts,

We're doing a PLEM and TPAM project. The type of valves's welded-in valve. In spec. require as follow: "After fabrication's complete, welded-in valves shall be subject to seal tests in accordance with the relevant project valve specification to demonstrate the valve functionality has not been impaired during fabrication".
Could you pls give me some advice about this kind of tests. Many thanks.
