Mr. Deni Rustiri,
To understand the fundamentals of consumable manufacturing, the suffix 'G' states that, it is 'General' that is the chemistry shall be fixed as asked and mutually agreed upon in between the end user and the manufacturer i.e., the manufacturer is not bonded by the code requirements. Examples: Consumables like E 7018G, E 8018G, E10016G, ER 70 S-6G etc, do not differ much with normal type except for certain specific requirements. Hence, Sec II part C of ASME do not specify the actual chemistry or other details as they do not come under the acceptable norms of the code.

How to explain that ER-70S-G has A No, because A no for GTAW process is an essential variable, If we refer to ASME sec II C, SFA 5.18 tabel 1 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION REQUIREMENTS FOR SOLID ELECTRODES AND RODS, for ER70S-G is Not Specified..
Thanks for your attention
Best Regards
