Dear Experts,
Construction Code : ASME Section VIII Div I
I have observed one mismatch in radiography.
I have also seen the actual weld, the problem I found that it is not the offset of shell or it was not ID mismatch also (UW-33 is not applicable in this case).
It was Weld bead mismatch ( In linear direction) as per attached sketch.
Can anyone give valuable suggestion that how much linear weld bead mismatch is allowed ?
The process is SAW & joint design is Double V. (Please see the attached sketch).
What is the solution for such type of defect ?
Thanks & Regards
Hiren Sevak
