We need some clarification.
Why use of prod for magnetic particle testing is restricted by API 6A.(cl 7.4.2.2.8)
What is the significant problem with respect to products intended for API 6A application?
We understand that arc burn due to prod is not permissible in machined surfaces, other than this what could be the metallurgical, or service related problems will be when testing components intended for API 6A application.
