In actual practise there is no issue for coating prior to hydrotest ; but all weld joints should be left exposed ; which should be coated only after hydrotest

in our project some CS (P#1) piping spool whant do the "THRU-KOTE" sleeves as per drawing, but we are planing to do this coating after hydro test but our construction team planing to do before hydro, if any body know anything about THRU-KOTE plse give advise to me and the coating can do before hydro static test
