Dear Mr. Subrata,
The fittings may be supplied in annealed, normalized and N + T conditions. This is as per clause no. 7.2.6 of A 234.
As a manufacturer, take care while selection of raw material, welding consumables as well as procedure qualification, as you need to meet the requirements to the product specifications ( ie. Tensile property, Hardness), after normalizing.
The details of heat treatment needs to be certified in MTC, as well.
With Best Regards,
Jignesh R Rana

Dear All
As per material requisition of one of our client says PWHT to be done regardless of thickness for Carbon Steel welded fittings. Can we go for Normalizing instead of PWHT after completion of forming as well as welding?
Thanks
Subrata
