Re: [MW:4515] ASTM A216 Vs ASME SA216 Difference

Dear Muthu

There are few differences between SA material and ASTM material.  If you require SA216 material, please refer to the Sec. II Part A 2007 Edition and read the fine print under the ASME Monogram which reads (Identical with ASTM A216/A 216M-93 except for the addition of 2.3 and editorial differences in 2.1 and 10.1)

For any material please refer to such fine prints.  However, this is mostly applicable when the product has to be code stamped.Test certificate to be reviewed for compliance with SA material including the year and recertification is also to be done.

Hope this clarifies your doubts.
 Regards

Thank you,
