Sa 333 Gr3 materials ( 3 1/2 Ni materials ) or SS materials would be better choice for -60 deg C . But for 3 1/2 Ni steels , PWHT needs to be done and stringent Quality requirements and NDE costs more when compared to simple SS 304 option.
Energy values while using CS materials would be 27J average of 3 specimens preferred.
(This energy value can be based on ASME Sec VIII Div.2 recommendations for lesser thickness )

Dear AllI had used SA333 Gr.6 for our sphere piping job having MDMT -60 °C the value we got is much more higher than B31.3 so i think above material is acceptable/sustain for -60 °C. And to prove it, u can go head for Procedure Qualification.Regards

Thank you for sharing, but even it is accepted, is it advisable to use
SA 333 Gr6 or better switch to Gr3 what is your opinion?.
What is your experience on energy values when tested at -60 °C. are
they consistent?
I have many failures, in particular sub size specimens when tested for
< - 60 °C.
