[MW:2607] Re: LTCS piping material for MDMT - 60 °C

Dear All
 
I had used SA333 Gr.6 for our sphere piping job having MDMT -60 °C the value we got is much more higher than B31.3 so i think above material is acceptable/sustain for -60 °C. And to prove it, u can go head for Procedure Qualification.

Thank you for sharing, but even it is accepted, is it advisable to use
SA 333 Gr6 or better switch to Gr3 what is your opinion?.
What is your experience on energy values when tested at -60 °C. are
they consistent?

I have many failures, in particular sub size specimens when tested for
< - 60 °C.
