[MW:1024] Equivalent material for Steel Grade S355G1 (+N)

In additional to variation in chemical composition (thou UTS/YS or more or less equal) G1 +N has CVN impact testing with min 50J @-20 °C and value of CEQ is restricted to 0.43 Vs 0.45/0.47 in case of JR material.

You need to prepare a comparison chart tabulated (one similar is attached for your ready reference) with all the values, and analyse where you are deviating and what is your end requirement (is there any CVN impact requirement or any CE restriction in client spec? etc.)

Probably this way you can get approval from your client with an additional testing such as CVN impact.

Subject: [MW:1022] Using Following Material

Hi,

Norsok M-120 says YO3 S355N1 equivalent but no same material. Please help me.
