[MW:4013] RE: 4012] LIP type nozzle to shell/Head weld joint category as per ASME

The term “Category” as used in this code defines the location of a joint in a vessel, but not the type of joint.  hence it falls under category D only.

What is the joint catagory of LIP type nozzle welded to shell or head? Is it A or D catagory?
