[MW:34265] Re: Weld Rejection Rate (WRR) for Welder and Welding Operator

Dear All 
Each company will have their own standard of  Weld Repair Rate . Also the calculation method  consideration is different .
Linear length Method or NDT Spot  based method
1.Linear Length - Defect Length /Total Length of welds welded  
   This is followed for Vessels/Equipment - Standard is  < 1 %
NDT involved is Visual Testing, DPT, MPT, RT,MUT,AUT
2 No of defective Spots in NDT /Total Number of spots of NDT taken
   This is followed for Piping/Tubing  < 5 % 
NDT involved is Visual Testing, DPT, MPT, RT,MUT,AUT
