Dear Experts,
-- We are working for a client with ASTM 588 grade B material which is atmospheric corrosion resisting steel.
With SMAW and ASW E 8018 W2 electrode.
We are facing distortion problems - bend / tilt, while fabricating of I beam structures.
Even after giving adequate supports distortion happening.
'
My question is is by heating the job and rectification is the only process OR cold pressed rolling is advisable for this material.
Please advice.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Dattu.
